The queen and the spotlight

I've always loved to write, but that's probably the most cliche thing a writer can say about themselves. The relationship I have with writing is one in which I try to make words happen in an order that makes sense, and sometimes it works. Most of the time, I'm left rambling about why people should care about my thoughts on what Hollywood is doing or why my taste in television is better than their friends'. But I'm getting a degree in Multimedia Magazine Journalism and I watch an exorbitant amount of TV—though it still always ends up being less than I'd like—so everyone should listen to me rather than that guy over there, right?

As someone who is borderline too interested in the goings on of the entertainment world, the logical step was to finally create the entertainment blog I've been meaning to for a million years.

I've written both on entertainment in a broad sense and in deeper analysis of how Hollywood is evolving, or not evolving in some senses. Whether through opinionated pieces based on my own knowledge of the industry or through expert testimony and historical research, this blog will be analyzing industry news, reviewing TV and film I check out, and sharing my thoughts on any entertainment topic I feel like weighing in on.

I have a particular love of superhero movies and shows, any queer media and shows including badass women, so if any of that is your thing, keep up with my posts and send me any comments, concerns or questions you have on any topics I cover or suggestions on things I should write about.
